These terms govern the SMS and text messaging program operated by Atlantic Coast Business Advisors LLC ("Atlantic Coast," "we," "us"). By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages from us, you accept these terms.

Program description

Atlantic Coast Business Advisors is a sell-side mergers and acquisitions advisory firm. We use SMS text messaging to communicate one-to-one with business owners who have contacted us or who are working with us.

Messages you may receive include:

  • Follow-up on a business valuation or sale inquiry you submitted

  • Scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling consultation calls

  • Answers to questions about our services or your inquiry

  • Coordination of document requests during an active engagement

We do not send marketing blasts, promotional campaigns, or automated message sequences. Every message is tied to an inquiry you initiated or a conversation you are already part of.

How you enroll

We only text people who have given us permission. You can give permission in two ways:

On our website. Check the optional SMS consent box on a form where you provide your mobile number. The box is never pre-checked, and you can submit the form without checking it.

Verbally, by phone. Tell our representative or advisor that it is alright to text you. We will explain these terms on the call and record your consent, including the date, time, and the representative who obtained it, in our customer database.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of using our services or of any purchase.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry and the stage of your engagement. You will receive no more than 10 messages per month.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Atlantic Coast Business Advisors does not charge you for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message from us at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts from that program.

Opting out of text messages does not affect your engagement with us or our ability to reach you by phone or email.

Supported carriers and delivery

Our messaging program is supported by major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless service provider and is not guaranteed.

Privacy

Atlantic Coast Business Advisors does not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text messaging consent with any third party or affiliate for any purpose, including for their own marketing purposes and including where you have given consent.

We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted to this page, and the date at the top will be updated.
